Global Internal Audit Standards project update - review of existing guidance
The existing guidance published on our website is now undergoing a review. The publications which have been through a review and the extent of that review will be detailed on a regular basis on a new page as part of our Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) resource collection.
The first batch of these (10) has been released this week and focuses on the support for the GIAS. There are approximately another 30 which will be published over the course of August 2024. These are all basic reviews to update reference to the new GIAS and address any broken or outdated links to other resources. This has been possible through the support of Barclays Bank and two of their level 4 apprentices - who we wish to thank for their help in what is a very big task.
The more in-depth reviews have also been planned and are now beginning to be done, but these will take longer due to their nature.
